Schützenstrasse 11, Berlin 10117, Germany
I spent 2 nights at the Mercure Checkpoint Charlie and it was great. Whether you're sight-seeing or need to get to a meeting, the location is really central and literally meters from a Metro station. As the name suggests, it's a short walk to the infamous Checkpoint Charlie.
I stayed in a Superior Room and it was a great value at 95 Euro a night. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there are lots of cafes in the area for a quick coffee and pastry.
The room was very spacious and had a big desk - perfect for getting some work done at the hotel. There was also a TV, mini bar and coffee maker. The bed was only a double so I would have preferred something a bit larger, but otherwise it was perfect.
